My Marimba & Flute Duo is recording its first CD!
Festivals
Festivals in Italy :- Salerno (May) and Napoli (July);
My very first trip to Argentina – Buenos Aires and Roca Negra 25.6.11 till 2.7.11
3.7.11 till 8.7.11 - yet another visit to one of my favourite countries – Mexico with performances in Mexico City, Xalapa, Veracruz amongst others. I do believe that despite living in the UK, my heart will always belong to South America!
Of course a year will not be complete without a few visits to USA (I have such a great time there too!).
The Denmark/ Sweeden tour would now, sadly, have to be postponed.
Velvet Garden
Velvet Garden is in the planning stages of recording its 1st CD.
The duos next concert is on the 25 March 2011 in St John's ARC, Old Harlow, 1.30pm (music includes J S Bach, A Pärt, R Dubra, ,G Instrall and A Piazolla).
Something New...
I look forward to the projects with Velvet Garden, Paolo Cimmino, Chaac Percusiones Mexico and can not wait to start work on the new commissions due later this year!!! Once again I will promise to try and be much better at updates!
Ps For those of you who have been so kind and concerned with my ongoing health problems, I’d like to let you know that I feel more positive now and, it would seem, on the mend – thank you so much for your understanding and support.
